Using VerseMate Notetaker with Zoom

For coaches in the VerseMate coaching program.

Adding the app

Open the app's page in the Zoom App Marketplace (the link from your program coordinator) and click Add, or click Connect Zoom on our home page.
Sign in to Zoom if asked, review the permissions and click Allow.
You land on a page that says your account is connected. That is all the setup there is.

What the app reads: your name and email, and the topic, time and join link of meetings you host. It never changes anything in your Zoom account.

Schedule your class in Zoom as usual. The app learns about new, changed and cancelled meetings from Zoom right away; there is nothing to register.
Start the meeting yourself. A participant named VerseMate Coaching joins shortly before the start. If your meeting has a waiting room, admit it.
Recording. Zoom shows its recording notice to everyone when the bot starts recording. Tell your group that classes are recorded for the coaching program.
After class. The bot leaves when the meeting ends. The recording and a transcript with each speaker's name go to the coaching program, which prepares your coaching report.
Not recording a class. Remove the bot from the meeting (Participants → More → Remove). To have what it already recorded deleted, email us the date and class name.

Sign in at marketplace.zoom.us and open Manage → Added Apps.
Find VerseMate Notetaker and click Remove.
Zoom notifies us and we delete your Zoom tokens and meeting schedule at once; the bot will not join your meetings again. Recordings and transcripts already made are deleted on request: email sebastian.boghiu@gmail.com (see the privacy policy).
